Business Intelligence Developer – West Mercia Police

The main purpose of the Business Intelligence Developer role is to provide high-quality Business Intelligence dashboards and reports, offering performance and business management insights to the Force.
You’ll collaborate with Police Officers and Police Staff across a diverse range of skills, ensuring data-driven decisions enhance operational efficiency.
About the Role
The Business Intelligence Developer is a hybrid role (combining home and office working).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performance analytics to support tactical and strategic police operations
- Design interactive dashboards and visualisations for real-time reporting
- Work closely with non-technical teams to extract meaningful insights from operational data
- Ensure reporting aligns with Force strategy and compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot and optimise data systems to improve decision-making processes

Essential Criteria
- Candidates must have been a permanent resident in the UK for the last 3 years to meet the vetting level required for this role.
