We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Lead to join our supportive and forward-thinking team, helping to promote and facilitate effective communication for all.
Communicate SLT CIC is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers flexible, tailored speech, language and communication services, investing in and supporting the diverse communities we serve.
The successful candidate will work with our governance board, CEO, finance lead, whole team and advisors to drive implementation of strategic plans in line with our vision and purpose. They will support the day-to-day leadership of the organisation and enable the team to support children and young people to achieve their full potential.
Salary: Full Time Equivalent £36,055
Hours: The post has been advertised as part-time (26.25 hours or 3.5 days per week, with Tues being a working day), however, there is an option to make this into a full time position for a candidate who is motivated and experienced in HR.

Location: Hybrid: Ideally at least 60% in the office @ Lancaster House, Amy Johnson Way, BLACKPOOL, FY4 2RP and some days working from home. Travel within Northwest for networking and meetings.
Essential requirements
- Ability to manage a diverse day to day workload involving business management, contracts, tendering and marketing/PR.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others and to inspire confidence and motivate team members.
- Experience of managing multiple tasks/projects.
- Ability to deliver to timescales.
- Commitment to high standards of service delivery and customer care.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a motivation to use tech to improve service planning, delivery and monitoring.

Desirable requirements
- Marketing Qualification
- Experience in Business Development, customer care and sales.
- Experience in communications, digital marketing and social media.
- An understanding of speech, language and communication needs.
- Experience communicating with a range of stakeholders including parents, educational settings and strategic leaders.
- Skills which fit within our coaching culture, e.g. excellent at giving and receiving positive and developmental feedback to support team and individual development.
