Business Lead, EMEA
Role Overview We're looking for a Business Lead, EMEA to launch and grow Teifi's commercial presence across the region, with an initial focus on the UK and close partnership with our Netherlands team.
In this role, you will: Own net-new business development across priority EMEA markets, with an initial focus on the UK and support for the Netherlands market. Act as the senior face of Teifi in the market, building trust with prospects, partners, Shopify, and early clients. Help establish Teifi's operating model in the UK, working cross-functionally with leadership on structure, hiring, and ways of working. Bridge sales and delivery, ensuring opportunities are well-qualified, well-scoped, and set up for successful execution.
You will work closely with the CRO, Delivery leadership, and Teifi's Netherlands team to shape market strategy, build the regional pipeline, and turn early wins into a scalable EMEA growth engine.
This is not a pure individual-contributor sales role, nor a pure delivery role - it sits at the intersection of growth, client leadership, and regional buildout.
This role is for someone who wants autonomy, ownership, and the chance to build Teifi's EMEA presence from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Revenue Growth Own pipeline development and net-new revenue generation across EMEA, with an initial focus on the UK and support for the Netherlands market. Develop and advance relationships with Shopify, strategic partners, and target merchants across Teifi's priority verticals. Lead consultative sales processes for complex commerce engagements, including discovery, solution shaping, commercial discussions, and close. Work in close partnership with Teifi’s Director of Partnerships & Marketing, who will provide support across partner channel activation, marketing-led pipeline generation, and content and events coverage

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
