LECTURER IN BUSINESS

Permanent Part-time: 29 hours per week (0.8 FTE)

Salary: £23,231 to £31,172 DOE (pro rata)

This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your skills and knowledge at Further Education and Higher Education level and inspire the next generation of students. Working in a vibrant and positive learning environment, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing students on Business studies programmes up to Level 5. Excellent organisational skills, enthusiasm and passion for teaching with the ability to motivate and inspire students, is essential.

Applicants welcome from recent graduates, experienced teachers with a background in Business. If you would like to start a career in teaching, support will be available to undertake a PGCE, at the College.

The Successful Candidate Must

  • Have completed a degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Hold GCSE English & Maths (A*-C)
  • Teaching/Assessing qualification or to undertake within 2 years
