Business Lecturer
Business Lecturer – Permanent, Full-Time (AQA A Level)
Are you passionate about empowering the next generation of skilled professionals? Capital City College Group is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Business Lecturer (A Level) to join our dynamic London-based team.
About the Role: Lecturer in Business
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching for A Level Business students, supporting them to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging lessons in line with AQA’s A Level Business syllabus, ensuring students grasp key concepts effectively.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to innovative, inclusive, and future-focused teaching materials.
- Student Support: Provide both academic and pastoral guidance, helping learners succeed in their exams and career pathways.
- Assessment & Feedback: Design, mark, and provide constructive feedback on coursework and exams.
This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach A Level Business across all exam specifications (AQA).
- Foster a learner-centred, inclusive approach to teaching.
- Support students with career guidance, university applications, and beyond.
- Collaborate with the FE team to enhance curriculum delivery.
- Uphold high standards of classroom management and professionalism.

Requirements
We’re looking for a dedicated professional with:
✔ Strong teaching experience in Business (or related subject) at A Level/Post-16. ✔ Deep knowledge of AQA’s A Level Business curriculum and assessment standards. ✔ Proven track record in motivating students, including those from diverse backgrounds. ✔ An honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant business field highly desirable. ✔ A ** recognised teaching qualification** (e.g., PGCE, NCTL, QTS) – or a commitment to gaining one. ✔ Sound understanding of FE education policies, including inclusivity and safeguarding. ✔ Strong communication and organisational skills, with an ability to manage diverse classrooms effectively.
