Business Line Manager – Hiab Demountables

Your Mission
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Line Manager to drive profitable growth for our Demountables portfolio across [the UK (Northern/Central region)].
This critical, high-impact role requires commercial ownership of revenue and margin targets, delivering growth through strategic leadership, nurturing customer relationships, coaching the sales team, and reporting directly to the VP Sales Europe, Demountables.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage country-level Demountables revenue and margin targets, collaborating with Business Area (BA) and Business Unit (BU) sales leads to set and achieve objectives.
- Lead and coach the dedicated Demountables sales team to:
- Improve conversion rates
- Enforce pricing discipline
- Enhance account penetration
- Translate the Demountables strategy into actionable country-level initiatives, ensuring rigorous execution of all sales programs.
- Build and manage direct customer relationships to drive sales growth and market share expansion.
- Maintain a competitive advantage by adapting local commercial strategies to meet market needs and technical application requirements.
- Engage end users and customers to gather product insights and provide critical feedback to Product Management.
- Uphold disciplined pipeline management and forecasting within the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with local stakeholders (e.g., bodybuilders) and align with other Business Line Managers (BLMs) for cross-BA success and customer-service excellence.
- Work with the Service team on complex projects—installations, bodyworks, contracts, and tenders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, commercial policies, and contractual frameworks.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent academic qualification) in a technical or commercial discipline.
- Experience: 5–7+ years in senior business management, with:
- A deep understanding of the load-handling/logistics sector
- P&L responsibility and financial accountability
- A track record of driving revenue growth, sales, and profitability
- Strong customer insights and ability to add value in solution delivery
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability and empowerment.
- Technical Competency: Hands-on technical skills and product knowledge within load-handling solutions.

- Delivery Orientation: Focus on results, with a proven history of meeting ambitious targets.
- Stakeholder Influence: Strong ability to communicate and influence both direct (sales teams) and indirect (internal/external partners).

- Proficiency: Fluent English (written and spoken).
