We are seeking a commercial, people-focused Business Manager to lead our branch and drive its growth.


About the Role

The Business Manager will have full accountability for:

  • Performance & profitability of the business
  • Continuous growth & reputation of the service
  • Balancing commercial performance, operational excellence and regulatory compliance
  • Creating a positive, high-performing culture, ensuring staff feel supported and motivated to deliver outstanding care
  • Business development, including:
    • Building private pay clientele
    • Strengthening professional referral partnerships
    • Enhancing local community profile of Trinity Homecare

Contract type: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hrs/week) Salary benchmark: Salary is upfront, with a bonus potential increasing earnings to Ā£55K–£60K (OTE).

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
  • Direct people operations, including recruitment, training, supervision, and staff development

Performance & Growth

  • Take full P&L accountability, driving profit growth while meeting operational targets
  • Develop and execute local growth strategies (private pay expansion, partnerships)
  • Secure and nurture relationships with:
    • Clients & families
    • Healthcare professionals
    • Key stakeholders

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure safe, effective staffing levels achieving cost-effective, quality delivery
  • Oversee quality and safeguarding, implementing continuous improvement
  • Monitor regulatory compliance (CQC standards included)
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management

Cultural Champion

  • Champion Trinity’s core values, fostering a positive, inclusive, ā€˜one team’ culture

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in a senior management role within a regulated domiciliary care setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or in progress)
  • Strong understanding of CQC compliance and quality frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability in:
    • Business growth or performance improvement strategies
    • Change leadership and driving innovation
    • Team management and stakeholder relations

Administrative & Logistics

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to a personal vehicle (assumption: for client and inter-branch visits)
