Business Manager – Vertu Hyundai Exeter
Basic Salary: £35,000 | OTE £55,000 + Company Car + Excellent Benefits
We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated Business Manager to join our team at Vertu Hyundai Exeter. This is a fantastic chance to join a high-performing team, working alongside a Sales Manager and Business Manager ready to support you in this new role.
About The Role
As our Business Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team and driving department performance. You will:
- Build and present finance and insurance deals to customers after handover from Sales Executives
- Ensure full compliance with all F&I (finance and insurance) regulations
- Champion our controlled ActiveSales process
- Support daily department actions, performance targets and customer outcomes
- Assist colleagues with first- and second-facing customer interactions
- Drive sales of finance, warranties, insurance products, paint protection, and add-ons
- Deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
Your ability to communicate confidently, build rapport, and create transparent, compliant deals will be central to your success.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Business Manager or Sales Executive role in the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of finance and insurance product regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage customer interactions professionally
- A proactive, customer-centric mindset
- A full UK driving licence
