Position Summary
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Business Manager III in the Pharma Services Group. You’ll play a pivotal role in client relationships and business growth, serving as the primary liaison between customers and our organisation. This position demands a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen to develop and manage strategic partnerships while ensuring superior service delivery and client satisfaction.
In this role, you will:
- Manage client engagements from initial contact through ongoing relationship nurturing.
- Oversee technology transfers and product launches.
- Drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate across functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Requirements
Education & Experience An Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, in either:
- A pharmaceutical industry role, or
- A contract manufacturing organisation (CMO/CDMO)
Preferred Fields of Study:
- Science
- Engineering
- Business
- Finance
- Related fields
Language: Fluent in English (required)
Responsibilities
Client & Project Management
- Demonstrated success in account management, project management, sales, or marketing with a client-facing focus.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and build consensus across multiple functions.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, including technology transfer projects and commercial product launches.

Technical & Business Acumen
- Strong understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and contract compliance.
- Advanced negotiation and issue-resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Education & Experience Summary
Option 1:
- An Advanced Degree + 3 years of experience OR Option 2:
- A Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of experience
Preferred Majors:
- Science
- Engineering
- Business
- Finance
- Related disciplines
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven relationship-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Travel:
- Up to 10% as needed, depending on project demands.
