We're looking for an ambitious, organised and highly motivated Business Manager to provide high-quality support to our People & Strategy Director.
Job Description
Your purpose in the role
As Business Manager, you will have responsibility for providing high quality support to a functional Director, with this vacancy aligned to the People & Strategy Director.
You will proactively manage multi-channel executive support and act as a thought partner on functional priorities, reporting and governance. You will engage across the People & Strategy Leadership Team in support of department deliverables and support the wider Executive Office as required.
This is a varied and exciting role and would suit an ambitious individual looking to deliver a meaningful impact to the organisation and build knowledge, capability and credentials for future career progression.

Qualifications
What you'll be doing
- Managing the Director's diary, inbox and priorities, adapting quickly as business needs change.
- Driving actions and follow-up across leadership and governance meetings.
- Supporting the People & Strategy Leadership Team with agendas, papers, minutes, actions and decision tracking.
- Analysing information and presenting insights to support decision-making.
- Preparing briefings, reports, and correspondence that require discretion and sound judgement.
- Creating internal communications and supporting global communication plans.
- Building strong relationships across the Executive Office, the People & Strategy function, and the wider organisation.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive, action-oriented mindset and excellent problem-solving ability.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and providing appropriate challenge.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Curiosity, agility and enthusiasm for new technologies and ways of working.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
About you
You're meticulous, commercially aware and enjoy bringing order to complexity, taking ownership of challenges and finding practical solutions. Most importantly, you'll bring a proactive, hands-on approach, with a willingness to get involved, make an impact, and play an active role in shaping both the position and your own professional development.
