Business Manager

Senior Business Manager – Distribution & Protection Support (London-Focused Role)

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Business Manager to partner with our Distribution and Protection leadership team, creating strategic clarity, driving momentum, and ensuring senior leaders focus on high-impact priorities.

Reporting closely to the Distribution Director and Protection Director, this high-trust, high-impact role blends senior executive support with commercial acumen. You’ll:

  • Shape operational priorities
  • Optimise time allocation for leadership
  • Introduce efficiency improvements, including AI and automation
  • Foster alignment across teams

Ideal for professionals who thrive on analytical challenge, collaboration, and visually improving processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership Enablement
    • Structure and accelerate strategic priorities to deliver organisational growth.
    • Create high-impact briefings, reports, and decision-support materials.
    • Track and escalate risks while ensuring targets stay on track.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record in executive support or senior business management within a complex environment.
  • Experience working at Director/VP level with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Flair for clear and engaging written communications (e.g., board reports, presentations).
  • Comfort integrating data/insights into planning, aligned with detailed KPIs.
  • Understand financial processes and (protective/distributive sectors is a plus).

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools or workflow automation.
  • Skilled in project and risk management methodologies.
