Cutting Edge Music Tech - On-Demand Vinyl Records
We are seeking a Business Operations and Strategy Manager to help us redefine the physical and digital music industry. elasticStage is building the world's first on-demand vinyl and CD platform, unlocking physical music for the Digital Creator era. By 2030, there will be over 250 million music creators globally, most locked out of physical formats due to high minimum runs and operational complexity. elasticStage solves this through patented on-demand vinyl and CD manufacturing technology, powering a free-to-use platform where creators can produce and sell physical releases worldwide with no upfront costs or minimum quantities.
And we are scaling fast:
- 100,000+ creators are using the product within our first year of commercialisation
- Aiming for 20X growth by 2027.
- Partnerships with SoundCloud and Amuse (with more major partners to come!)
- Shipped to over 90 countries.
- 4.7★ on Trustpilot and Google
- Recently raised new funding, bringing the total capital raised to £30M
- Just moved to a new office in Kings Cross
As Business Operations and Strategy Manager, you will help define how a modern, AI-enabled company operates at scale. Working closely with leadership, you will build the processes, operating rhythms, automation and decision-making frameworks that support the next phase of growth.
The role builds the structure, processes and practices that allow every area of the business to work efficiently towards a common direction. You will own elasticStage's company-wide OKR system, the leadership operating cadence and business performance layer, internal communications, board and fundraising support, and a portfolio of cross-functional AI enablement and automation projects.
In this role, you will gain rare exposure to a high-growth environment, serving as the operational engine, trusted advisor, and communication bridge across all levels of leadership.
We value intellectual curiosity, a strong builder mindset and practical experimentation. You will be as comfortable scoping a new process or workflow as you are prototyping it yourself with AI tooling, influencing both how we operate and how we build.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Responsibilities
- Set up elasticStage's operating model end-to-end in a future-back, AI-native way, designing for how the company should run at 10x scale and building the processes, tools and infrastructure to get there
- Design, launch and run the company-wide OKR system (tools, processes, data infrastructure, ceremonies), targeting a Q3 2026 launch, then iterate. Make it scalable and AI-native so anyone in the company can set, review and update OKRs progress efficiently through AI tooling, with metrics flowing automatically from the data layer
- Own the leadership operating cadence: weekly leadership meeting, monthly business reviews, quarterly and annual planning, post-mortems and decision logs. Embed AI into the cadence itself for pre-read generation, action tracking and decision making
- Define and maintain the KPI and financial tracking framework that sits alongside OKRs (unit economics, cohort metrics, business performance indicators). Build and maintain the dashboards and metrics packs which the whole organisation runs on and own the data so everyone has trustworthy numbers accessible in natural language, with the right guardrails for sensitive data
- Own internal communications: all-hands content, leadership announcements, company narrative, change comms
- Build the internal knowledge base across strategy and operations so everyone in the company always has equal and update context on direction and progress
- Own board preparation (deck, pre-reads, minutes, follow-ups) and investor updates. Support with fundraising process end-to-end: pipeline tracking, data room, diligence coordination, model defence and metrics deep-dives
- Support our internal objectives around AI-native workflows, potentially running a few AI enablement projects across the business, helping teams like People & Talent, Finance, Customer Support and Operations automate key tasks.
- Take on cross-functional strategic projects without a natural owner as they come up: org design, partnerships, market analysis.
