About the role

Working closely with the Business Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of all Business Operations. You’ll provide essential support to teams across the retail estate, helping them complete maintenance tasks promptly and uphold the highest Health & Safety standards to enable successful day‑to‑day trading.

You will also be responsible for managing business communications, ensuring all messaging is clear, accurate, and aligned with our brand. In addition, you will support all CSO [Central Support Office] departments, helping them maintain effective working environments and operational practices.

  • Skilled in coordinating maintenance, managing suppliers, and supporting cost‑effective solutions.
  • A hands‑on problem solver who works independently and contributes positively to a varied, fast‑moving environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Business Operations mailbox and distribute clear, on‑brand communications, including weekly Let’s Talk Retail updates.
  • Management of all incoming and outgoing post and couriers.
  • Provide operational support to retail, CSO, and contractors, managing maintenance requests and coordinating timely repairs.
  • Oversee ordering and distribution of operational supplies and support new store openings, closures, and the Seasonal Showcase.
  • Maintain accurate Retail content on Microsoft Teams and manage the Engage & Excite calendar.
  • Carry out CSO walkthroughs, support facilities maintenance, and ensure Health & Safety compliance across all sites.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships, acting as the main point of contact for Business Operations queries and supporting key initiatives.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Background in retail essential
  • Customer service experience desired
  • Understanding of cost control
  • Understand and represent the brand attributes
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally, both written and verbal
  • Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Competent in Microsoft Office & Outlook
  • Enthusiastic, self-confident, and self-motivated
