Business Operations Manager

Security Clearance

The Business Operations Manager Role

Elevate your career at Airbus Belfast as our Business Operations Manager. You will drive growth strategy development and financial management through lean methodologies, ensuring our facility sets a global benchmark for rate-readiness by bridging operations and corporate support.

Provide supply chain risk mitigation and accelerate commercial success in a leading aerospace hub.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Integration & Risk Mitigation

  • Bridge operations and support functions.
  • Utilise the ARM (Active Risk Management) tool and Tactical Implementation Plans (TIP) to address financial and operational bottlenecks.
  • Execute change management plans to resolve critical business challenges.

Operational SQCDP Performance

  • Oversee the Business Management System.
  • Monitor Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP).
  • Drive rate-readiness to tackle future build demands and production ramp-ups.

Financial & Resource Stewardship

  • Act with delegated budget authority over CAPEX, NRC (Non-Recurring Costs), NPO, and Indirect Payroll.
  • Align recruitment and training with sustained Airbus profitability.

About You

Strategic Risk Manager

  • Able to use risk-mitigation tools (e.g. ARM).
  • Competent in formulating Tactical Implementation Plans (TIP).

Financial Architect

  • Committed to thorough financial planning and value maximisation.
  • Experience in managing CAPEX, NPO, and non-recurring costs.

Change Agent

  • Experienced in Continuous Improvement, particularly in eliminating non-added-value activities.
  • Delivers SQCDP performance growth.
