About Us We’re building the world’s leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets - empowering families, fueling local economies, and changing how millions access financial services. Since our launch in 2019, we have transformed how money moves across borders with our operations spanning 6 out of 7 continents and covering both the busiest and most underserved (remittance) corridors. We tapped into a massive shift - from banks to phones - bringing digital finance to places where traditional systems never reached. The next stage of growth will fuel a network of services and products especially designed to make money more accessible to diaspora communities including local cards, and additional savings and payments features. We’re growing fast, backed by world-class investors, and scaling a product that blends real world impact with cutting edge fintech innovation. This is a role for someone who wants to own the numbers that matter — building the models, running the analysis, and producing the outputs that inform how we grow, where we invest, and how we tell our story to the world. We’re moving millions of dollars across dozens of corridors every day, and our financial infrastructure needs to match the ambition of the business. You’ll work directly with senior leadership on financial planning, business reporting, and strategic analysis — with real ownership from day one. If you want a front-row seat to how a high-growth fintech scales — and want to be one of the people making it happen — this is the role. Responsibilities • Own the build and refinement of TTS’s core financial models, developing them to the standard of rigour and clarity that external audiences demand • Lead major planning cycles end-to-end — owning the inputs, the model, and the output across growth, opex, and country-level planning • Run sections of monthly business reporting fully autonomously, producing outputs ready for senior leadership independently • Work closely with the Founder and senior leadership to prepare board materials and investor-facing content independently • Partner with cross-functional teams — including Product, Marketing, and People Ops — to provide financial rigour and analytical support that drives better decisions across the business • Support new business units as they scale, acting as the strategic finance business partner for for emerging areas of the business from the ground up • Take on ad hoc analytical projects that directly support business performance — from deep-dives on specific markets to pricing analysis and competitive benchmarking • Bring structure and clarity to complex problems, translating raw data into insight and insight into action • Help shape how we think about financial planning and analysis as TTS grows — building the processes and frameworks that will serve us at scale Requirements • 4–6+ years in a high-performing analytical environment — investment banking, consulting, FP&A, or startup/scale-up finance • Proven ability to build and own complex financial models from scratch • Highly analytical with strong Excel skills (SQL desirable); able to work with large datasets and translate analysis into clear, senior-ready outputs • AI-native in your approach — you actively use AI tools to work faster, build smarter, and push the quality of your outputs further • Excellent communication skills; experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders or external audiences (board decks, investor updates, or similar) • Nice to have: experience in fintech, payments, or emerging markets; fluency in languages beyond English Also you are • Outgoing — you love speaking to people and enjoy building meaningful relationships • Execution Oriented — we have an ‘impact first’ philosophy and a lot to get done. You should be able to take an idea to implementation • Mission Oriented — you are passionate about working for a net positive organisation / tech for good • Organised — you have a system for how you approach your work that can keep you on track in a scrappy startup environment • Driven — you thrive in a fast-paced, target oriented company Taptap Values Impact first Team next Accept reality Propose solutions Win with grit Be proactively candid, with yourself and others Love the particular Own it Create positive energy Maybe, even have fun Taptap Send is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
