Business Operations Manager
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE + Benefits
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Operations Manager to join a growing and ambitious business. Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a pivotal role to support the smooth day-to-day running of the business, ensuring systems, processes and controls are efficient, reliable and fit for purpose. You will work closely with senior leadership and, where required, deputise for the Operations Director, providing continuity across operations, finance and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day office operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently
- Supporting financial processes including invoicing, credit control, cash flow monitoring and ledger management
- Ensuring strong cash flow through proactive management of sales and purchase processes
- Managing a CRM and internal systems to ensure they support operational delivery
- Acting as a point of contact for all office, facilities and supplier-related matters
- Supporting compliance across ISO standards, GDPR, Health & Safety and employment legislation
- Supporting Consultants in the delivery of sales, marketing, diary management and other activities as required
- Deputising for the Operations Director where required, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making

The Person
We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable operating across multiple areas of the business.

You will bring:
- Experience in an Office Management, Operations, or Business Support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Good financial awareness and attention to detail
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a mindset for continuous improvement
- Confidence in working closely with senior leadership and stepping up when required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience within a SME or professional services environment would be advantageous.
