Business & Partnership Manager
Location: London (The City, onsite)
Contract: Permanent / Full-time. Monday to Friday, 9-5PM.
Generous salary package + 26 days of holidays + bank holiday, lunch daily allowance + 3 weeks remote working from anywhere.
Our client is the Group's international business division (listed company), dedicated to expanding its global presence through strategic partnerships, international business development, and the delivery of large-scale projects within the agri-food sector.
The Business & Partnership Manager will provide strategic planning and business management support to the Chief Operating Officer, helping to shape, prioritise and coordinate the organisation’s business initiatives, a listed company.
Working closely with the COO, the role will focus on business planning, commercial opportunities, strategic partnerships and executive coordination. The Business Manager will ensure that initiatives are well defined, appropriately prioritised and effectively transitioned to the Project Management team for implementation. This role is focused on planning rather than delivery. Responsibility for project execution remains with the Project Management team.
We are very keen on talking to people with 5–10 years' experience who have either:
- Started their career in consulting (Big 4, Accenture, etc.) and then moved into an internal strategy or business management role.
- Worked in the Office of the COO or CEO, preparing board materials, coordinating strategic initiatives, and supporting executive decision-making.
- Held a Business Manager, Chief of Staff, or Corporate Planning role within a large international or listed company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
