Business Performance Analyst

Department:

Finance, Data & Procurement

Reporting To:

Financial Controller

Salary:

£35,000 per annum

Location:

In person, on-site, Morecambe Lab

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, curious, and commercially minded Business Performance Analyst to join our Finance, Data & Procurement team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and helping people make better decisions. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Procurement, turning information from multiple systems into meaningful insights that support the day-to-day running and long-term growth of the business, whilst also providing operational support to ensure the efficient running of the department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing reports, analysing trends, maintaining key business data, and helping stakeholders understand what is happening within the business, why it is happening, and where opportunities for improvement exist. Just as importantly, they will help identify opportunities, ask questions, and suggest improvements that drive better performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience looking to move beyond simply producing reports and become a trusted partner in helping the business make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce and maintain regular business reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Analyse trends in sales, customer activity, operational performance, and financial results.
  • Develop customer, product, and departmental reporting to support business decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including service levels, productivity, and customer performance.
  • Analyse customer purchasing trends, product performance, and service metrics to identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making.
  • Support the development of management information used by leadership teams.
  • Present findings clearly and make recommendations based on data analysis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
