Business Performance Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your business analysis expertise and leadership skills could directly shape how AI understands strategy, finance, and organizational decision-making? We're looking for experienced Business Performance Analysts to lead and mentor teams creating high-quality, business-focused content that trains cutting-edge AI models.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for seasoned professionals who thrive at the intersection of analytical thinking, people leadership, and operational excellence. No prior AI experience required — your business domain expertise is what matters most.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Content Specialists producing AI training content
  • Allocate tasks, manage workflows, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery across projects
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and continuously refine team processes for greater efficiency
  • Provide structured performance feedback, coaching, and professional development support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, delivering regular updates
  • Guide the creation of case studies, business scenarios, and domain-specific content spanning finance, policy, e-commerce, operations, and more
  • Ensure all outputs are analytically rigorous, logically sound, and aligned with project objectives

Who You Are

  • Experienced business professional with a strong foundation in analysis, consulting, or domain-focused project work
  • A natural leader — you've managed teams and know how to get the best out of people
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with a sharp eye for logical consistency and accuracy
  • Clear, confident communicator who can translate complex ideas into structured, actionable content
  • Creative thinker who can approach business problems from multiple angles
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment
  • No prior AI or tech experience required

Requirements

  • 2+ years of team management or people leadership experience
  • 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, content development, or a related domain-focused role
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate the quality and soundness of business content
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to provide detailed, constructive feedback
  • Creative and lateral thinking abilities — comfortable tackling ambiguous or complex business scenarios
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) in a business-related discipline
  • Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or content evaluation workflows
  • Background in case study writing, academic research, or structured business content production
