Role Overview We’re looking for a commercially aware and detail-oriented Business Planning & Analysis Analyst to play a key role in supporting and developing the growing Business Planning & Analysis function! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment in a scaling global business. You’ll work with large datasets, interpreting financial performance, and translating complex financial information into clear business insight for stakeholders at all levels. You’ll support the budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver meaningful financial insight, and work closely with budget holders and key stakeholders across the business to drive informed decision-making. You’ll use your strong analytical capability with a proactive, commercially minded approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
What we're looking for A strong understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow). Experience with budgeting and rolling forecasts across both short and long-term planning cycles. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Experience analysing large datasets to generate commercial insight and support decision-making. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to key stakeholders. Strong variance analysis skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail. Qualified Accountant or Finalist (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent). Understanding of how financial data supports wider business strategy.

What you'll do Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes across the business. Analyse financial performance and provide variance analysis against budget and forecast. Collaborate with Central Finance during the monthly close process. Support the preparation of monthly board packs for Executive and Leadership teams. Meet with budget holders to review month-end performance and provide valuable commercial insight. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed financial analysis. Support KPI tracking and performance measurement across departments. Work closely with department leaders to understand operational performance and key commercial drivers. Provide financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making. Assist with pricing analysis, cost control initiatives, and investment evaluations. Help improve financial reporting processes and automation, including supporting the migration of reporting into Power BI. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems. Proactively deliver key business insights and help build scalable, efficient processes that support the continued growth of the BP&A function and wider business.
Salary Salary range: £48,000 - £60,000
