Business Planning Analyst
Role: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000-£60,000
Start: ASAP
F5 are delighted to be working with a global leader in the SpaceTech sector, who are looking to add a talented Business Planning Analyst to their growing Business Operations team.
This is a newly created position that will play a key role in helping the business connect workforce planning, project demand, resource allocation, and financial forecasting into a single, joined-up planning function.
Essential Skills
- Strong analytical and data modelling skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI experience, with the ability to create dashboards, reports, and planning models.
- Understanding of resource planning, capacity planning, and/or workforce planning.
- Experience working within project delivery, PMO, engineering, or operational environments.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain governance frameworks and planning processes.
- Strong ownership mindset with a focus on data quality, standards, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Systems-thinking approach with strong problem-solving capability.
- Current holder of, or eligible to obtain, UK SC Clearance.

Desirable Skills
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or other complex operational environments.
- Exposure to process improvement, business transformation, or change initiatives.
- Experience leveraging AI or automation tools to improve reporting, forecasting, or planning activities.
- Experience implementing planning systems, reporting platforms, or business-wide process improvements.
- Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and costing models.
