Role Overview
We are implementing an Enterprise Transformation Programme, a critical multi-year journey to transform Haleon into a high-potential business through agile, efficient operations. As a Business Process Expert (BPE) – Finance Reporting & Analytics, you’ll partner with the Business Process Owner (BPO) and functional teams to:
- Design, govern, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes to maximise value delivery.
- Defining a future-state roadmap, aligning initiatives with "Win as One" strategy, ensuring user-centric, high-quality, and efficient processes.
- Drive transition, working cross-functionally to sustain benefits through performance management, adoption oversight, and continuous improvement.
Core emphasis: Data-driven insights, collaboratively transforming Haleon’s finance reporting & analytics capabilities to excel in decision-making. You’ll need to leverage latest technology (SAP S/4HANA, cloud-based tools, AI-driven trends) to streamline processes and deliver world-class analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Reporting & Analytics Leadership
- Cultivate a strong understanding of Haleon’s data sources, flows, and structures to empower real-time decision-making through insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redefine upstream reporting and analytics, integrating with technologies like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and AI-driven solutions.
- Standardise KPIs and a unified data model to enable intelligent, predictive analytics and dynamic planning.
- Champion outside-the-box perspectives, driving adoption of best-in-class data governance frameworks.
- Interpret and leverage data hierarchies to deliver insightful, user-friendly reporting capabilities across finance teams and broader stakeholders.

Design & Roadmap Development
- Partner with the BPO and relevant functions to ensure designs align with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, gathering input, evaluating recommendations, refining future-state processes, and driving flexible evolution.
- Document “to-be” process visions, alongside evaluating the “as-is” state, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Represent designs in governance forums, ensuring alignment with programme timelines and cross-functional overlap.
Ready to Deliver – Readiness & Support
- Collaborate with Functional Leaders to assess readiness for programme execution, identifying gaps and solutions.
- Support the business change team in analysing people implications, outlining interventions for successful adoption.
- Develop relevant documentation and training/upskilling materials to enhance efficacy across teams.
Transition & Change Management
- Partner with the Business Continuity Manager to implement interim operating states during change phases, maintaining minimal disruption.
- Design and implement interim processes, ensuring a seamless transition to permanent states.
- Adhere to governance principles, enforcing rigorous performance tracking against SLAs and KPIs.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships; align vision with programme objectives, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Act as a process champion, ensuring priorities are reflected in decision-making and feedback loops are empowered.
- Adapt messaging for diverse audiences, delivering tailored and impactful communication.
Experience & Skills
Technical & Functional
- 10+ years hands-on experience in Finance Reporting & Analytics, ideally paired with modern data tools (Power BI, SAP S/4HANA, emerging AI and automation technologies).
- Deep knowledge of data governance and management principles, with a proactive focus on leveraging cross-functional insights.
- Experience working in SAP ecosystem (preferably S/4HANA) is a significant advantage.

- Robust project management, ensuring structured execution from current to future-state processes.
- Hands-on experience with FMCG/Consumer Health sectors, or complex, global environments.
- Comfortable working with multi-cultural teams, managing ambiguity, and driving cross-functional ownership.

- Inspiring & driving teams with vision, balancing ambition with collaborative action.
- Empathetic yet sharp communications, harmonising rational decisions with stakeholder empathy.
- Proven ability to navigate change and uncertainty, ensuring organisational stability while enabling transformation.
- Problem-solving mindset, evaluating challenges with multiple perspectives to make strategic decisions.
