Job Opportunity for Business Process Mapping Specialists
We are looking to connect with experienced Business Process Mapping Specialists, Process Analysts, Business Analysts, Transformation Business Analysts, BPMN Analysts, Process Improvement Consultants, TOM Consultants, Operational Excellence Specialists, and Automation Business Analysts for our talent pool as we anticipate continued demand across the UK market.
We are proactively building a network of independent consultants and contractors with strong process mapping, business analysis and transformation delivery experience to support future projects across financial services, insurance, public sector, healthcare, retail, technology, utilities, and consulting.
As UK organisations continue to invest in digital transformation, operational resilience, automation, AI-readiness, ERP/CRM modernisation, cost optimisation, and target operating model redesign, demand is growing for specialists who can clearly map how businesses operate today and design how they should work tomorrow.
What you may support:
- Lead as-is and to-be process mapping across business functions, systems, teams and customer journeys.
- Facilitate workshops with business, operations, technology, risk, compliance and senior stakeholders.
- Document end-to-end workflows, handoffs, pain points, controls, risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
- Develop BPMN process maps, swimlane diagrams, SOPs, operating procedures, process inventories and requirements documentation.
- Support Target Operating Model design, process optimisation and business capability mapping.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI enablement, process mining, system change and operational improvement.
- Translate business processes into clear requirements for technology, data, automation and change teams.
- Support transformation programmes across discovery, design, implementation, testing, go-live and adoption.
- Produce high-quality documentation, stakeholder packs, process playbooks and executive-level summaries.

What we are looking for:
- Experience within financial services, insurance, public sector, healthcare, retail, technology, utilities, consulting, or other complex enterprise environments.
- Strong experience in one or more of the following:
- Business Process Mapping
- Business Process Modelling
- BPMN
- Business Analysis
- Process Improvement
- Target Operating Model Design
- Operational Excellence
- Lean / Six Sigma
- Process Automation
- ERP, CRM or digital transformation
- Operational resilience or controls mapping
- Ability to map complex processes across people, systems, data, controls and decision points.
- Experience using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Signavio, ARIS, Blueworks Live, Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, or similar platforms.
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Independent consulting, contracting or project-based delivery experience is advantageous.

- Target Operating Model design and business capability mapping.
- Operational resilience, controls, risk, compliance or regulatory change programmes.
- ERP, CRM, finance, HR, claims, payments, lending, insurance or customer operations transformation.
- Automation, AI-readiness, workflow redesign or process mining initiatives.
- Service design, customer journey mapping or digital product transformation.
- Process standardisation, simplification and cost optimisation programmes.
- Mergers, integrations, system migrations or operating model change.
- Public sector, financial services, insurance, healthcare or other regulated environments.
