Business Projects Officer – Project Management & Communications (London/ Castleford/ Nottingham)
About the Role
We are a leading tech distribution firm dedicated to Connecting People to Tech through the empowerment of our team, ensuring the highest standards of employee experience and engagement.
In support of our expansion, we seek a Business Projects Officer with a strong focus on communication, tasked with driving successful project delivery while enhancing both internal and external stakeholders’ alignment.
This role demands a unique blend of:
- Project management expertise
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills
You will oversee projects from inception to completion while maintaining clarity, consistency, and alignment within cross-functional teams. Based at our London, Castleford, or Nottingham offices (with international travel to other CMS sites as needed).
Responsibilities
Core Accountabilities

Change Management & Communications Strategy
- Develop and implement communication strategies, ensuring key project messages are timely, clear, and consistent.
- Guide teams through change management by creating and delivering targeted communications to drive engagement and address concerns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Support to refine project communication and execution.

Progress & Status Reporting
- Compile and distribute regular updates, including:
- Status reports
- Dashboards
- Presentations
- Ensure stakeholders stay informed about project progress, risks, and mitigations.

Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify and address project risks.
- Communicate potential challenges and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.

Content Development
- Draft and refine project communications (emails, newsletters, emails, etc.).
- Maintain transparency and foster engagement by tailoring messaging to stakeholder needs.
Liaison & Reporting
- Bi-Weekly Progress Reports
- Submit concise, balanced updates blending operational and tactical progress.
- Reports must be evidence-backed, incorporating data and observations.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree: Bachelor’s in Communications, Project Management, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1+ years in project management, with a focus on stakeholder engagement or customer success.
- Mini-Malus: Experience in engagement practices, building relationships, and managing positive stakeholder dynamics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) or quick adaptation to new platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
