About The Role

Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Connections Operations Business Readiness Manager to join us at NESO. This role is responsible for ensuring that changes driven by Connections Reform, policy development or system enhancements are effectively translated into operational delivery within Connections Operations.

The role acts as the bridge between policy, product and operations, ensuring that new processes, systems and requirements are:

  • clearly defined
  • operationally fit for purpose
  • implemented consistently and effectively
  • understood and embedded across the team

The role will ensure that Connections Operation team is fully ready to deliver changes across people, process and systems, while also providing operational insight and feedback to upstream teams to improve the design and implementation of reform and policy initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end business readiness within Connection Operations for all Connections Reform and policy changes, ensuring smooth and timely implementation.
  • Translate policy and system changes into clear operational processes, controls and guidance.
  • Define and deliver training strategies and materials for new processes and system enhancements.
  • Work closely with Digital / Product teams to ensure system changes align with operational needs.
  • Establish and maintain clear governance for change implementation.
  • Ensure changes are delivered in a controlled and sequenced manner, avoiding operational disruption.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline or improve processes following implementation.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied.

About You

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in business readiness, change delivery or operational transformation.
  • Proven ability to translate policy or system changes into operational processes.
  • Experience working across product, policy and operational teams in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of process design, systems adoption and change management.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge to upstream teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex changes clearly.
  • Highly-organised, with ability to manage multiple concurrent change initiatives

What You'll Get

A competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience and capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance, 28 days annual leave as standard, and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
