Business Relationship Manager – Motor Insurance Partnerships

North West x3 Days Per Week | Hybrid Working

£50,000 Basic + 10% Bonus + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

The Company

Our client is one of the UK's fastest-growing businesses within the mobility and automotive services sector, partnering with many of the country's leading motor insurers and claims organisations.

Following a series of significant contract wins and continued investment, the business is expanding its commercial team to support ambitious growth plans. This is an opportunity to join a business with real momentum, where you'll work alongside an experienced leadership team and play a key role in developing long-term strategic partnerships.

The Job

This is a relationship-led commercial role focused on managing and growing partnerships across the UK motor insurance market.

You'll inherit a portfolio of established customers whilst identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships, generate additional revenue and win new business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across insurers, accident management providers and automotive businesses, you'll become a trusted partner who understands customers' challenges and delivers commercial solutions that add real value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing relationships with key insurer and strategic partners.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and secure new commercial partnerships.
  • Building credibility with senior decision-makers across the motor insurance and claims sectors.
  • Presenting commercial proposals and solutions to prospective and existing customers.
  • Representing the business at industry events, networking opportunities and customer meetings.
  • Monitoring market activity, competitor developments and emerging trends to identify future opportunities.
  • Supporting the delivery of commercial targets and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Profile of Person

We're keen to speak with commercially minded professionals who already understand the UK motor insurance market and enjoy developing long-term business relationships.

You may currently work within an insurer, accident management company, credit hire organisation or automotive services business in a role such as Business Development, Account Management, Partnership Management, Supplier Relationship Management or Client Management.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working within the UK motor insurance industry (essential).
  • A strong understanding of motor claims, accident management or automotive services.
  • A proven ability to build and develop commercial relationships with customers or strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • A proactive approach, strong organisational skills and the confidence to operate with autonomy.
