About the ICT & Digital Service
Coventry City Council’s ICT & Digital service is a dynamic and innovative team driving key digital solutions for the organisation, city, and external partners. Our role includes:
- Supporting 5500+ corporate users through digital technology
- Managing 400+ servers, 300+ systems, and related infrastructure
- Delivering ICT support for schools and educators
Beyond Council operations, we advance Digital Coventry, a strategy aligned with national goals to position Coventry as a hub for:
- Innovation in business, education, and living standards
- Smarter technology, including 5G, AI, AR, VR, and automation
- Collaborative projects through national movements like LocalGov Digital

The Role: Digital Services Business Relationship Partner
As a Digital Services Business Relationship Partner, you will:
- Bridge the gap between Digital Services teams and the wider Council business
- Ensure seamless digital service delivery, maintaining high user satisfaction
- Proactively identify improvements in user engagement and communication
- Lead innovative campaigns to align digital solutions with business needs
- Translate priorities, incidents, and updates clearly to stakeholders
- Oversee daily service management – quality assurance, incident resolution, and evolving technology alignment
Mandatory requirement: Applicants must hold the Right to Work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

We seek a structured, relationship-driven professional who:
- Understands and communicates business requirements to technical teams
- Drives collaboration between IT and end-users for optimal service outcomes
- Identifies and capitalises on opportunities for deeper user engagement
- Designs and executes targeted communication strategies
- Ensures accountability for reliable, high-quality service delivery
