We're looking for a Business Resilience Lead to drive this agenda forward, helping us build a resilient organisation that can respond, adapt and recover whilst supporting our long-term strategic ambitions.

Your Role

As our Business Resilience Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping and embedding resilience across the organisation. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business and technology teams, you'll help strengthen our ability to manage disruption, protect critical services and continuously improve our recovery capabilities.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and improving Softcat's Business Resilience capability.
  • Defining and evolving our Minimum Viable Company (MVC).
  • Maintaining and enhancing our BCMS and ISO 22301 certification.
  • Developing and testing crisis management and recovery plans.
  • Embedding resilience into business change and strategic initiatives.
  • Driving resilience improvements across people, process, operations, technology and suppliers.

We'd love you to have:

  • Experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Crisis Management.
  • Strong experience with BIAs, recovery planning and resilience frameworks.
  • Experience developing and improving a BCMS, ideally aligned to ISO 22301.
  • The ability to influence, engage and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading resilience programmes and managing multiple priorities.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
