Role Description

The Business Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Leicester. The individual in this role will:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects
  • Conduct sales presentations and meetings with potential clients

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Developing relationships with decision-makers
  • Understanding client needs
  • Proposing suitable HR and Health & Safety solutions

The role also involves:

  • Managing key accounts
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing clients
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

The Business Sales Executive will also:

  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Meet company KPIs and sales targets
  • Accurately report activity and performance using the company’s CRM and reporting tools

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Business Development skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, and closing deals.
  • Solid Account Management skills, with experience in nurturing client relationships and maximizing account value.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills to provide responsive support and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver clear presentations and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Experience in B2B services, particularly HR or Health & Safety solutions, is beneficial.
  • Ability to work toward targets, analyze sales performance, and use CRM software or similar tools is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a proactive, goal-oriented approach.
  • A relevant qualification in business, sales, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
