Job Description
Are you passionate about turning business needs into practical digital solutions? We are looking for a Business Solutions Lead to help simplify, improve and automate key commercial processes across Syngenta Professional Solutions (SPS). In this role, you will work with commercial teams, IT&D partners and delivery teams to translate business priorities into clear requirements, workflows and data-enabled solutions. You will help shape CRM, automation and low-code/no-code solutions that make work easier, improve adoption and support better decision-making.
Accountabilities And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Map, analyze, and reimagine SPS commercial processes, with a focus on simplification before automation.
- Translate agreed SPS priorities into clear business requirements, workflow logic, user stories, and implementation-ready inputs and feed them directly into the CDT global engineering hubs to maximize asset reuse.
- Partner with global and regional commercial stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, adoptable, and aligned with Syngenta and SPS ways of working.
- Drive the demand life cycle and functional design of agreed commercial systems and automation solutions, partnering with CDT (Commercial Digital Technology) engineering hubs for core delivery.
- Support CRM and commercial systems enablement, including business rules, process flows, data needs, and user-facing workflow requirements.
- Identify and shape automation opportunities across activation, lead generation, event follow-up, customer engagement, and service/support flows.
- Configure or prototype low-code/no-code solutions for process validation using tools such as Salesforce, n8n, OutSystems, or similar enterprise approved platforms ensuring any production deployment adheres to global platform governance and architectural standards set out by the CDT.
- Work with delivery teams, architects, data partners, and engineering resources to turn process needs into effective system changes.
- Assess data dependencies, integration needs, and reporting implications when shaping process and automation solutions.
- Explore opportunities to apply generative AI, assisted workflows, and agents to improve productivity and process execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance and AI architecture guidelines.

Qualifications And Required Experience
- Experience in business systems, CRM, process automation, product ownership, business analysis or digital implementation.
- Strong understanding of commercial processes and the ability to work with global and regional stakeholders.
- Practical experience with CRM, workflow automation or low-code platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, n8n or OutSystems.
- Ability to map and redesign processes clearly; BPMN or similar modelling experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of data flows, system boundaries, integrations and data quality.
- Experience working with delivery teams using backlogs, user stories, testing, releases and tools such as Jira.
- Interest or experience in using generative AI, assisted workflows or automation to improve process execution.
- Strong communication, facilitation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work across a matrix organisation.
- Business Information Systems, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to read API documentation and translate integration requirements into lightweight to medium-complexity workflow solutions, with practical understanding of data flows, system boundaries, and data quality implications.
- Demonstrated use of generative AI tools for productivity, process analysis, documentation, prototyping, or workflow design.

This role can be based in multiple Syngenta locations within the UK and Spain.
