At La Fosse
At La Fosse, we're building the next generation of digital talent. The Role
The Business Solutions Coach is responsible for the high-quality delivery of a range of business solutions apprenticeship programmes up to and including Level 4 (for example Business Administrator, Digital Support Technician, Project Manager and related business solutions standards), ensuring every learner receives structured, compliant and impactful training and support throughout their apprenticeship journey. This role requires full compliance with DfE funding rules, Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) requirements, and the organisation's internal quality assurance processes.

- Deliver programmes across Business Solutions apprenticeship standards up to Level 4, including areas such as Business Administration, Project Management, Digital Support and other related disciplines.
- Play an important role in developing curriculum content, maintaining high-quality learner records and ensuring programmes are delivered in line with DfE funding rules, Ofsted expectations and internal quality standards.
- Deliver engaging workshops, coaching sessions and training across Business Solutions apprenticeship programmes.
- Manage a caseload of apprentices, supporting them from onboarding through to End Point Assessment.
- Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers, ensuring apprentices remain on track.
- Mark assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Develop and improve learning content alongside the Head of Training.
- Build strong relationships with employers, supporting them throughout the apprenticeship journey.
- Embed English, maths and digital skills throughout programme delivery.
- Monitor learner progress, identify risks early and put support plans in place where needed.
- Maintain accurate learner records and ensure full compliance with funding and quality requirements.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement across the Academy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
