Role Description

The Business Specialist childcare sector SEND SEN role is a full-time, on-site position based in London. The specialist will focus on analyzing and supporting business operations within childcare settings that serve children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND/SEN). The role involves regular communication with internal teams, childcare providers, and external stakeholders to gather requirements, address service issues, and ensure that business initiatives align with regulatory and sector-specific standards. The specialist will also provide guidance on customer service practices, monitor performance against targets, and support continuous improvement across SEND/SEN childcare projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess performance, and support decision-making in the childcare SEND/SEN sector.
  • Experience in business planning and general business operations, ideally within education, childcare, social care, or related sectors.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and childcare providers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Customer service skills to support families, partners, and clients with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of SEND/SEN frameworks, regulations, and best practices within UK childcare and education settings.
  • Ability to work on-site in London, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and tools for reporting, presentations, and documentation.
  • Relevant qualification in business, education, social care, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
