# Business Strategy Consultant – Supply Chain & Operations Location: UK & Ireland Employer: Slalom

About Slalom

Slalom is a global, human-centric business and technology consulting firm. We partner with organisations to solve complex challenges and achieve transformative outcomes through strategy, technology, data, and business transformation services.

Our UK&I Business Strategy team helps organisations define their future, identify value-creating opportunities, and build practical pathways to success. We collaborate with executive leaders to address critical business challenges, combining strategic thinking with hands-on experience to deliver measurable business impact.

Unlike traditional consultancies, we focus on actionable, sustainable strategies. We work alongside clients from conception to execution, helping them unlock growth, improve performance, and build long-term capabilities.

The Role

About This Position

As a Business Strategy Consultant in our Supply Chain & Operations practice, you’ll assist clients in tackling their most pressing operational and supply chain challenges. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll help design strategies, evaluate opportunities, and optimise organisations to enhance service, efficiency, resilience, and growth.

We’re seeking proven consultants or industry experts—whether from consulting, operations, or a blend of both—who are passionate about solving complex business problems and turning strategy into action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support strategic consulting engagements across supply chain and operations, driving performance improvement
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, growth paths, and operational efficiencies
  • Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and transformation roadmaps
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align leadership and build cross-functional consensus
  • Analyse operational, financial, and supply chain data to generate actionable, evidence-based insights
  • Support the design of future operating models and organisational capabilities
  • Create high-impact executive presentations and client-facing deliverables
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Contribute to proposal development, thought leadership, and team capability growth

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
