Business Support Administrator – Fixed-Term (Part-Time)
Salary: £25,583 – £26,403 per annum (pro rata) Work Pattern: Part-Time (15 hours/week) Location: Meadow House, Littleworth, NG18 2TB Working Arrangements: Hybrid Duration: 12 months Closing Date: 07 July 2026 (23:55) Interview Date: 21 July 2026
About the Role
At Nottinghamshire County Council, we strive to deliver compassionate care to our community, particularly through our Adult Care and Health Team. We are seeking a Business Support Administrator to join an entry-level role that focuses on administrative support for adults requiring assistance with learning disabilities, mental health, or physical disabilities.

Responsibilities
As a Business Support Administrator, you will:

Meeting Management
- Organise, coordinate, and lead meetings, including sending invitations and taking minutes.

Data Management
- Create and maintain SharePoint lists for staffing and service requirements.

Order Processing
- Handle orders efficiently and accurately within deadlines.

Customer Care
- Provide excellent administrative support to clients, staff, and team members.

General Administrative Work
- Perform varied business support tasks to ensure smooth operational workflows.
Key Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience using SharePoint for data management.
- Strong numeracy skills for accurate data input.
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to GDPR regulations.
