Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Support professional to join our team. This role will provide essential administrative and operational support to the accounts team, ensuring the smooth running of non-chargeable activities and internal processes.
Working closely with an Accounts Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficiency across client communications, internal coordination, and business support functions.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Accounts Support
- Prepare and manage engagement letters
- Support the invoicing process and monitor billing schedules
- Assist with accounts preparation processes, including coordinating documents for signing
- Maintain accurate client records and carry out ongoing data cleansing
- Produce ad hoc reports and support basic data analysis
Client & Team Coordination
- Coordinate mailshots and client communications
- Organise internal team meetings, including scheduling and preparation
- Provide administrative support to the accounts team as required
- Assist with ad hoc projects across the business
Operations & Administration
- Manage incoming and outgoing post
- Support general office administration and operational tasks
- Ensure documentation and internal systems are kept up to date
Reception Cover (Ad Hoc)
- Provide occasional reception cover for lunch, holidays, and sickness
- Meet and greet visitors and handle incoming calls professionally when required
Key Requirements
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice is highly desirable
- Experience in an administrative or business support role within a professional services environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional and personable approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
