Business Support Administrator

Business Support Administrator (Sheffield)

Location: 17 Europa View, Sheffield Business Park, S9 1XH

Contract type: Full-time (40 hours, Monday–Friday) covering shifts between 08:00–18:00

Salary: £26,436.80 per annum


About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Business Support Administrator to join our growing team at Exemplar Health Care, providing essential administrative and customer service support. You’ll be the welcoming face of our Support Centre, managing office tasks and ensuring visitors receive a positive experience.

This dynamic role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork while contributing to our mission and values. A full valid driving licence and access to your own car are essential due to travel requirements.

Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant to the CEO/Head of Business Support, you’ll be critical in maintaining smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your role involves a variety of administrative and customer-facing duties, ensuring the smooth running of our Support Centre. Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact: Welcome visitors, answer calls and messages promptly and professionally
  • Administrative support: Assist the Business Support Team with correspondence, post and daily mail management
  • Email and correspondence: Proactively manage the Business Support mailbox, adhering to clarity and confidentiality
  • Assistance to Executive Management: Support PA’s with large-scale projects, travel and accommodation bookings
  • Logistics and procurement: Coordinate catering, stationery supplies, cleaning products and other office essentials
  • Document handling: Manage printing, photocopying and collation of materials
  • Financial administration: Raise purchase orders, verify invoices and maintain business-related financial records
  • Event coordination: Assist in planning and executing meetings, events and internal initiatives
  • Compliance and safety: Follow health and safety policies and maintain confidentiality at all times
