Business Support Administrator – Commercial & Finance, Assurance at Lucideon CICS Ltd
As a Business Support Administrator – Commercial & Finance, Assurance, you will be part of a team of experts delivering verification and certification services to clients across a range of industries. This is a varied role that combines finance, commercial, and administrative responsibilities to support the smooth operation of business activities across Lucideon CICS Ltd and Lucideon CICS Ireland Ltd.

Job Purpose
The Business Support Administrator – Commercial & Finance, Assurance provides essential administrative and operational support across commercial and finance functions. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate financial processing
- Effective contract administration
- Efficient record management
- Coordinating business activities within the Assurance team
Core Accountabilities
Finance Administration
- Processing invoices and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Maintaining financial records compliant with company procedures and policies
- Assisting with monthly reporting and financial administration
- Handling data entry and updates within financial systems

Commercial Support
- Supporting contract management, including document preparation, review, and filing
- Maintaining and updating commercial records and client information
- Assisting with commercial proposals and documentation
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders for business development support
Administrative Support
- Managing accurate records across specialist business databases, document management systems, and Competent Authority online platforms
- Processing final reports and verification opinions/statements across voluntary and mandatory schemes
- Coordinating across departments to ensure efficient business operations
- Providing general administrative support to the Assurance team as required
Key Person Requirements
- Experience in finance, commercial, or administrative roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion
- Experience with database systems (training provided on specialist systems)
- GCSE English (Grade 5/C or above)
- GCSE Maths (Grade 5/C or above)
- Business Administration qualification desirable, but not essential

Core Features & Benefits
- Permanent position
- 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- Onsite at the office in Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent
