Business Support Administrator – Kings Hill

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join our growing team at Kings Hill. This is a broad, hands-on role covering Finance, People and Culture, and Office Management, with scope to grow as the business expands.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of:

  • Financial processes
  • Customer/supplier interactions
  • Internal operations

Serving as a central support function across Finance, People and Culture, and the wider business.


Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
    • Daily bank and card reconciliations
    • Payments and short-term cash flow management
    • Preparing monthly payroll
    • Billing recurring agreements, projects, and sales
    • First point of contact for billing and payment queries
  • Procurement & Order Processing
    • Tracking and expediting orders

Office & Business Operations

  • Supporting office and facilities management at Kings Hill
  • Maintaining Health & Safety compliance and a positive working environment
  • Coordinating team events and socials

People & Culture Support

  • Maintaining employee records and HR documentation (HRIS/Bamboo)
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and leaver processes
  • Preparing employment contracts and new-hire documents

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Finance or Administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
  • Experience in procurement or order processing
  • Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification
  • Understanding of HR administration or HR systems
