The Vacancy
WGM Engineering, part of RSK Group, is looking for a Business Support Administrator – Off-Site Engineering to join our Off-Site Engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Based across our Newbridge and Livingston locations, you will provide practical day-to-day administrative support to our fabrication and assembly operations, helping ensure information, systems and team activity are coordinated accurately and efficiently.
Reporting to the Head of Offsite Engineering you will work closely with colleagues across Off-Site Engineering and the wider WGM business. This is a varied role covering team administration, document control, timesheets, purchase orders, meetings, travel arrangements, internal communications, and reception support.
WGM is entering a significant period of growth, supported by secured long-term frameworks across the UK water sector and a strong pipeline of essential infrastructure work. We combine the close working relationships and practical mindset of a specialist engineering business with the scale, stability, and wider support of RSK Group.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy, hands-on team and play an important part in keeping our Off-Site Engineering operations organised, connected, and running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing efficient administrative support across WGM’s Off-Site Engineering business stream.
- Managing shared mailboxes and ensuring queries and actions are passed to the right people promptly.
- Producing meeting minutes, correspondence, spreadsheets, records, and reports.
- Booking jobs onto internal systems and maintaining accurate project and operational information.
- Coordinating timesheet input and resolving discrepancies across WGM’s time-recording and ERP systems.
- Supporting the processing of purchase orders, invoices, and related queries.
- Maintaining electronic files, SharePoint records, document libraries, and audit-ready information.
- Arranging meetings, travel, accommodation, and hospitality where required.
- Supporting internal communications, events, and promotional activity for Off-Site Engineering.
- Welcoming visitors, answering calls, and providing reception cover when needed.
- Supporting the team with additional projects and administrative activity as required.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in an administration, business support, or office coordination role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Confidence maintaining spreadsheets, databases, filing systems, and shared document platforms.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- A polite, helpful, and approachable manner when dealing with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
- A proactive and flexible approach to changing priorities and ad hoc requests.

Salary And Benefits
Salary offered will be aligned to your skills and experience. The Salary band is £20k - £30k
