Job Purpose

To assist in the day-to-day operations of the Business Support team by accurately inputting, processing, and validating TMHCC Policy Underwriting data.

This position is an excellent entry-level opportunity within the insurance industry, ideal for:

  • Students or early-career professionals eager to learn.
  • Candidates building on existing office or administration experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain allocated incoming work tasks accurately and timely, adhering to company service standards.
  • Identify, prioritise, and resolve high-priority work efficiently.
  • Liaise with Underwriters, Underwriting Assistants, and internal/external colleagues:
    • Maintain professionalism and courtesy while swiftly resolving queries.
  • Actively participate in both local and UK-wide TMHCC office meetings, as required.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Willingness to study towards relevant insurance qualifications.
