Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire Salary: £30,000 per year (Full time)

About the Role
The Business Support Co-ordinator is a multi-faceted role, evolving daily but centred around two key pillars:
- Comprehensive support across finance activities (ensuring smooth running of financial processes).
- Daily HR administration (handling essential people-related tasks).

The role supports Directors and Head of Finance by:
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Overseeing and performing credit control activities.
- Processing purchase orders and reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end activities.
On the HR side, the role covers:
- Employee records maintenance.
- Onboarding/offboarding support.
- Holiday and absence tracking.
- Routine HR query resolution.
Together, these tasks support the leadership team practically, ensuring a busy office operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Support
- Assist in credit control management, monitoring aged debt and following up with clients to ensure timely invoice payments.
- Oversee quote issuing to streamline invoicing, ensuring effective book-keeping.
- Xero expertise required: Regular and timely bank reconciliations to track transactions and support accurate VAT returns.
- Support ISO compliance initiatives, maintaining and improving the company’s quality management systems, ensuring adherence to standards, and streamlining internal/external audit processes.
Internal Audit & Compliance
- Work with Directors to plan, coordinate, and support audits, including:
- Identifying and implementing corrective/preventative actions.
- Tracking actions to completion.

Office & Administrative Duties

Oversee daily office management, including:
- Building maintenance
- Supplies
- Cleaning contracts
- Health and safety compliance

Support the outsourced HR partner in:
- Administering full HR lifecycle (recruitment to offboarding).
- Reference checks, right-to-work verification, and induction processes.
- Updating and maintaining the HR management system.

Accurately track holiday and absence to ensure adequate workforce resourcing.
