Business Support Manager
The Business Support Manager role involves working closely with the Head of Business Support, CBS Leadership, key senior stakeholders, and internal departments to ensure the effective leadership, management, and deployment of Executive Assistants (EAs) for supporting the Partner group.
You will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 40 EAs.
The Manager will operate within the Business Support Services team of Central Business Services (CBS) and collaborate with colleagues in an agile manner to meet Partner and business-wide requirements. This role is a key component of the CBS community, led by five central principles:

What This Role Entails
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management and proactive leadership of the EA team
- Partnering with the business to anticipate and prioritise support requirements for effective EA deployment
- Developing and sustaining strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver a seamless EA support service
- Implementing standardised operating processes with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency and enhanced service delivery
- Driving and championing change initiatives across the EA team through clear vision and leadership
- Serving as the first point of escalation for Partners and potential senior intervention in challenging issues
- Developing and monitoring service quality standards, ensuring the business remains responsive to stakeholder feedback
- Leading performance management cycles including check-ins, reviews, comprehensive performance evaluations and feedback sessions
- Resolving performance/absence challenges in collaboration with the Head of Business Support and HR
- Overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, offboarding processes of Executive Assistants
- Identifying and exploiting development opportunities, both formally and informally, for the EA team
- Mentoring and coaching EAs to foster a high-performance culture with a focus on quality and service excellence
- Working seamlessly with other EA Team Managers and covering roles during temporary absences or manager rotates
- Managing and reporting on operational and service management statistics, aligned with CBS’s standards
- Monitoring and overseeing EA workforce utilisation efficiency
- Additional ad-hoc travel for engaging with team members and attending face-to-face manager workshops.
