Business Support Officer:
Lancashire County Council is looking for a Museum Business Support Officer to join its Museum Service, working as part of the team at Helmshore Mills, a unique museum and industrial heritage site in Rossendale.
About the Role:
If you are highly motivated, friendly and supportive with excellent administrative, communication and customer care skills then this post is for you.
This role provides key administrative, clerical, and financial support for the day-to-day operation of Helmshore Mills, including cashing up, banking and processing orders for shop and café stock and equipment. It includes inputting financial and management information as required and requires higher level text processing, spreadsheet and IT skills.

It also provides accurate general advice and guidance to the public, colleagues and the Friends. The role involves the administration of group bookings, events and liaising with the Heritage Learning Team over school bookings. Also supporting the front of house operations which can include opening and closing the site, operating the till, dealing with visitors, and assisting with events and promotion.
This is a permanent post based at Helmshore Mills. The hours are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
