About The Role
Business Support Officers (Green Spaces & Planning Services) – Two Full-Time Fixed-Term Roles (One Year)
About This Role & Our Ideal Candidate
We currently seek two full-time Business Support Officers in Green Spaces and Planning Services—fixed-term roles for a year.
As a key member of our team, you will manage diverse administrative responsibilities essential to daily service delivery:

Green Spaces:
- Financial management (invoices, purchase orders, supplier coordination)
- Managing service requests with contractors
- Handling team inbox communications
- Providing meeting administrative support

Planning:
- Inbox and case management
- Administrative support for planning appeals
- Advising the public and applicants on application processes
- Organising documentation for Planning Committees
We are looking for collaborative team players with exceptional ICT skills and the ability to adapt and master new systems quickly. Ideal candidates thrive in variety-rich environments and excel under busy workloads with a commitment to excellence.
About Us
These roles are based in our Customer Fulfilment Service within the Residents and Communities Directorate. Our vision is to support Kingstonians in living their best lives by combining customer-facing support services into one centralised team.
