Business Systems Consultant (Contract)
Hybrid
Edinburgh
Inside IR35 - £350 - £400 per day
3-12 Month Contract
We're looking for an experienced Business Systems Consultant to support and improve key business applications across Finance, Commercial, Construction, and Land functions. This is a hands-on role focused on system configuration, user support, change delivery, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to deliver enhancements, manage releases, and support a wider business transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver system enhancements and configuration changes.
- Manage requirements, user stories, testing, and releases.
- Support business users and troubleshoot system issues.
- Work with third-party vendors to deliver fixes and improvements.
- Drive process improvements and system adoption.
- Contribute to a major business systems transformation programme.

Essential Experience
- Experience supporting business applications, ERP systems, or similar platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
- Proven background delivering changes through system configuration.
- Experience managing requirements, testing, and deployments.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience
- Housebuilding or construction sector experience.
- Knowledge of platforms such as Causeway, COINS, IFS, or Evision.
- Agile delivery experience.
- Experience supporting ERP or business transformation programmes.
