The Impact You Will Have In This Role
The Strategic Management & Governance family serves as a dedicated technology resource for advancing DTCC's business opportunities and providing industry thought leadership on new technologies. It manages significant programs and projects, including:
- Strategic change management
- New business and product initiatives
- Process re-engineering
- General business management initiatives
The Business Systems Analyst role specializes in acting as the bridge between Technology and specific business/product areas, performing the following key functions:
- Identifying, documenting, and analyzing business requirements
- Creating detailed project and process specifications
- Coordinating with project teams
Your Primary Responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with Billing/Finance stakeholders to deliver the following responsibilities:

- Elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements for ORMB enhancements and business-as-usual (BAU) changes.
- Own the functional design for ORMB pricing and billing capabilities, including:
- Fees
- Subscriptions
- Exchange rates
- Charging methodologies
- Setup/maintenance of Price Items (fee types), Pricing Parameters, and Rate Schedules (per Product/Division)
- Define and support ORMB configuration and maintenance using ORMB screens, along with ongoing updates to fee/pricing configurations as part of BAU.
- Support ORMB’s file-based interfaces and operational processes, including ORMB Migration Data Set Import/Export functions.
- Ensure changes adhere to required ORMB standards and IT governance, including ensuring fee updates go through the ORMB approval process.
- Create and maintain test approach, then execute and support validation for releases, such as:
- ORMB UI/config verification (e.g., Price List/Price Assignment, Rate Schedule/Rate Components, and Entity Hierarchy checks)
- Support regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness by validating key billing flows:
- Uploading transaction data
- Executing TFM (Trial Fee Management) and Trial batch jobs
- Reconciling billable units/amounts and General Ledger (GL) amounts against downstream billing reports
- Coordinate across IT and business partners to communicate:
- Scope
- Impacts
- Readiness (e.g., release and regression scope alignment and approvals)
- Troubleshoot functional issues/discrepancies in ORMB during BAU and release cycles:
- Document findings
- Drive resolution with technical teams

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

- Strong ORMB functional expertise in:
- Pricing/billing setup
- Setting up: Price Items, Billable Charges, FX Rates, Pricelists, Price Assignments, and Rate Schedules
- Analytical ability: Translate business outcomes into ORMB configuration and testable requirements.
- Detail-oriented and data comfortable: Draw insights by reconciling billable units/amounts/General Ledger (GL) amounts across outputs and reports.
- Release-minded execution: Comfortable with structured release/regression routines and ensuring scope is clear and approved.
- Strong communication: Collaborate effectively across Finance and IT teams.
- Ownership mentality:
- Anticipate downstream impacts
- Document decisions
- Drive issues to resolution without repeated follow-ups
- Comfort with operational interfaces and processes:
- File-based feeds
- Batch-driven workflows
- Validation of inputs/outputs end-to-end
