This fixed term role (12 months) will be responsible for leading the end-to-end replacement of our current Finance platform, a project that is core to the delivery of our Technology and Data Strategy.
You will take ownership from detailed requirements gathering through to successful implementation and go-live, ensuring the solution meets both operational needs and strategic objectives.
In addition to this, you will drive the ongoing development and optimisation of one or two other key business platforms depending on your previous experience.
The systems you'll help build are what allow MSC to run efficiently behind the scenes, freeing up the rest of the organisation to focus on our mission: ending overfishing and helping to safeguard the future of the world's oceans.
This role would work as part of a team of other Business Systems Managers within our Technology & Data team responsible for a diverse suite of IT systems supporting internal staff and external stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with Finance systems and processes, or has supported similar system transition projects
- Is confident working independently, leading requirements gathering, and managing delivery timelines within wider business and technology priorities
- Understands how to measure success and ensure system changes deliver real value
- Has strong experience working in a Microsoft environment, including Office 365 and SharePoint.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to someone with a few years’ experience who is looking to grow their career in business systems and product ownership.

The MSC is committed to flexible working. The successful candidate will need to work from the London, UK office for a minimum of 50% of their working time each month. The remaining time can be worked from home. During the onboarding process, hybrid work may require more in-office work than remote work.

Today, the impacts of overfishing and climate change pose an even greater threat to the ocean and fish stocks. Through our internationally recognised certification and ecolabeling program, well-managed sustainable fisheries are recognised and rewarded throughout the seafood supply chain. Over 700 fisheries around the world, representing 19% of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC program and MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 66 countries. Through partnerships and collective endeavour, we are on a mission to end overfishing.
