Position Summary

You will work as a daily-fluent business systems professional, responsible for managing and optimising critical data systems, primarily CRM and Business Intelligence (BI). Your core focus will be:

  • Managing these systems efficiently
  • Defining optimal business utilisation
  • Driving system enhancements that transform complex datasets into actionable insights
  • Improving decision-making through strategic data governance and accuracy

This hands-on manager will bridge technical data teams with business stakeholders, maximising cross-functional collaboration to boost:

  • Reporting efficiency
  • Workflow automation
  • Data-driven performance and growth

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM solutions, workflows, customisations, integrations, and automations based on business requirements
  • Manage the full scope of the organisation’s Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including:
    • Developing and scaling dashboards and reporting frameworks
    • Implementing data visualisation solutions
  • Oversee data flows across systems to ensure:
    • Consistency
    • Accuracy
    • Alignment with industry standards
  • Partner with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure:
    • Data integrity across pipelines
    • Reliable infrastructure and scalable data storage
  • Continuously identify automation opportunities to enhance reporting processes
  • Provide enterprise data modelling and semantic layer support
  • Manage the end-to-end data analysis lifecycle, from:
    • Requirements gathering
    • Dashboard and reporting delivery
    • Ongoing optimisation
  • Collaborate with business teams to define and refine KPIs
    • Translate those KPIs into scalable reporting solutions
  • Analyse business trends, patterns, and anomalies, translating results into actionable insights
  • Deliver real-time or near real-time reporting solutions
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for strategic and operational decision-making needs

Profile

Ideal Candidate Attributes

We seek an experienced and results-driven Business Systems Manager with proven success in:

  • Managing enterprise business systems
  • Delivering system enhancement projects
  • Driving data-driven decision-making through reporting and analytics

Technical Requirements

  • Confident experience in configuring and developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions
  • Business Intelligence (BI) expertise
  • Ability to leverage and manage BI resources (currently via third-party partner) with ambition to enhance in-house management
  • Fluency working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Critical knowledge of collaborative translation skills, from business requirements to operational outcomes

Key Requirements & Skills

  • Education: Degree-educated (preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related discipline)
  • Experience: 10+ years of business systems expertise
  • Total competence in:
    • Managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM environments (administration, configuration, developments)
    • Business Intelligence (administration/configuration/development)
  • Proven hands-on experience using:
    • Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI)
    • C#
    • JavaScript
    • SQL
    • APIs
