Supply Chain Transformation Consultant
London | Bristol | Manchester | Hybrid | Permanent
Our client is a leading global technology and consulting organisation, recognised as one of Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies, delivering some of the most complex transformation programmes across government, defence, and critical national infrastructure. With growing investment in Defence Supply Chain Transformation, the team works at the heart of programmes that directly support operational readiness, resilience, and long‑term capability.
This opportunity is ideal for a Supply Chain Transformation Consultant with Defence experience and strong systems, architecture, or transformation expertise. Rather than focusing on traditional warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations, this role sits within a technology‑enabled transformation environment, helping clients design, integrate, and modernise the systems, architectures, and digital capabilities that underpin Defence supply chains.
As a Supply Chain Transformation Consultant, you will help clients design and deliver next‑generation supply chain capabilities, combining strategic thinking, operational transformation, systems integration, and technical delivery across complex Defence environments.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Contribute to large‑scale Defence Supply Chain Transformation programmes
- Support the design and delivery of end‑to‑end supply chain solutions
- Work closely with Defence clients on complex operational and technology challenges
- Shape future supply chain capabilities across planning, logistics, manufacturing, and engineering
- Lead technical workstreams focused on systems design, integration, and implementation
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Contribute to thought leadership and proposition development within Defence

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
