Dutch Speaking Business Travel Consultant

Seeking a Dutch-speaking Business Travel Consultant to work from home (or hybrid) for a large, successful travel company.

Excellent Dutch (fluent) and English required, along with corporate travel, business travel, or leisure travel experience.

Role Overview

Work Monday to Friday, with one weekend day every six weeks, servicing various client accounts for a business travel management company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book travel arrangements (hotels, flights, transportation) using a GDS system (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre)
  • Resolve issues related to:
    • Reservations
    • Waiting lists
    • Seat selection
    • Upgrades (as needed)
  • Handle reissues, schedule changes, and flight amendments
  • Respond to customer inquiries for:
    • Timetables
    • Fares
    • Hotels
    • Tickets
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Develop and deliver customised travel solutions for clients and partners

Requirements

  • Experience in:
    • Business travel
    • Corporate travel
    • Leisure travel reservations
  • Working knowledge of a GDS system (preferable Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) (Training available if you have a travel qualification or experience)
  • Fluent Dutch and English (critical)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player mindset
  • Willingness to train over the first week

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary range: £26,000–£33,000 (higher end dependent on GDS experience)
  • Commission scheme: ~£2,000–£4,000 per year (uncapped, paid monthly)
  • Homeworking/Hybrid option available
